Standard Series
Introducing the flagship collection of instruments within the Standard series by Woodstock – a meticulously crafted ensemble of guitars blending classic aesthetics with contemporary enhancements tailored to meet the discerning needs of guitar aficionados. Here's what sets them apart:
A delicate application of polyurethane lacquer ensures that each guitar resonates authentically, delivering a natural tone while exuding a vibrant visual appeal.
Crafted with precision, high-grade steel mechanical components enhance the reliability of these instruments, facilitating the seamless transmission of string vibrations throughout the guitar's neck and body.
Equipped with AlNiCoV magnets, the pickups produce immaculate and transparent tones, unveiling the rich tonal nuances of the wood when amplified.
Handpicked alder and maple woods form the foundation of these guitars, imbuing them with a distinct and unmistakable sound signature.
Meticulous craftsmanship and rigorous multi-stage quality control procedures culminate in instruments that boast boutique-level quality without breaking the bank.
Woodstock Standard Jazzcaster
Featuring classic Tele components like a maple neck and two single-coil pickups with AlNiCo5 magnets, along with a three-position switch, volume control, and tone control, the Woodstock Jazzcaster offers reliable tuning and enhanced resonance with its string-through-body bridge mounting. However, what truly sets the Jazzcaster apart is its distinctive design, reminiscent of the grunge and indie rock era of the 80s and 90s.
Sound
Designed for enthusiasts of indie and punk rock, the Woodstock Jazzcaster combines asymmetrical aesthetics with practical design elements. Its enlarged asymmetrical body provides enhanced balance and comfort, whether played seated or standing.
A blend of classic 1950s-1960s guitar designs, the Jazzcaster boasts streamlined contour lines and ergonomic features. Beveled body edges for the right hand and torso, along with unrestricted access to the upper neck register due to the shortened lower horn, contribute to improved playability. The enlarged upper horn and soft body contours further enhance balance and comfort.
String-through-body mounting ensures stable tuning and enhances instrument resonance during dynamic performances.
Equipped with a bridge pickup featuring AlNiCoV magnets, the Jazzcaster delivers focused yet bright tones.
The neck pickup, also with AlNiCoV magnets, produces deep, voluminous sounds, complementing the guitar's classic character.
Playing Feel
Crafted with a maple neck boasting a comfortable C-shaped profile, the Woodstock Standard Jazzcaster invites players into a realm of effortless musical exploration. Its 12" radius fretboard becomes a conduit for seamless bends, while the meticulous hand-rounding of fret edges elevates comfort to an art form, making each note a joy to play.
Delving deeper, accessing the truss rod becomes an intuitive affair, allowing swift adjustments to the neck's geometry. Soft, masterfully-crafted fretboard edges add a personal touch to every strum and pluck, instilling a sense of assurance with each chord progression and solo riff.
Attention to detail extends to the guitar's frets, where meticulous finishing ensures impeccable tuning integrity across all 22 high-flying frets. Complementing this commitment to precision is a bone nut, infusing the instrument's voice with a soft, yet resonant timbre that captivates the ears.
Underpinning the Jazzcaster's reliability is its tuning peg mechanism, boasting an elevated gear ratio of 18:1. This engineering feat ensures that every tuning adjustment is precise and stable, even during the most fervent of performances.
Completing the ensemble are the retainers adorning the headstock, acting as guardians of string vibration transmission. Their presence enriches the guitar's expressive qualities, imbuing each note with a depth and character that speaks volumes to the discerning musician.
