Standard Series
Introducing the flagship collection of instruments within the Standard series by Woodstock – a meticulously crafted ensemble of guitars blending classic aesthetics with contemporary enhancements tailored to meet the discerning needs of guitar aficionados. Here's what sets them apart:
A delicate application of polyurethane lacquer ensures that each guitar resonates authentically, delivering a natural tone while exuding a vibrant visual appeal.
Crafted with precision, high-grade steel mechanical components enhance the reliability of these instruments, facilitating the seamless transmission of string vibrations throughout the guitar's neck and body.
Equipped with AlNiCoV magnets, the pickups produce immaculate and transparent tones, unveiling the rich tonal nuances of the wood when amplified.
Handpicked alder and maple woods form the foundation of these guitars, imbuing them with a distinct and unmistakable sound signature.
Meticulous craftsmanship and rigorous multi-stage quality control procedures culminate in instruments that boast boutique-level quality without breaking the bank.
Woodstock Standard Fat Tele
The Woodstock Standard Fat Tele guitar is tailored for blues, indie rock, rock 'n' roll, and country music, boasting a dense, bright tone and a well-balanced character that renders it adaptable to both live performances and studio sessions.
Constructed from alder, the body exhibits sturdy craftsmanship, imparting a regal tone and extended sustain to the guitar. Equipped with a steel bridge featuring massive brass saddles, it mitigates excessive sharpness from the sound while elevating the nobility of the guitar's high-frequency range.
String-through-body mounting ensures tuning stability during vigorous playing, enhancing the connection between the string and the body for a more resonant instrument sound.
Positioned on a thick brass plate, the bridge pickup with AlNiCoV magnets delivers a focused yet authentically bright sound.
In contrast, the neck pickup, housed within a nickel-plated cover, features AlNiCoV magnets and a humbucking design, contributing to the guitar's distinctive, powerful, and deep sound. This versatility allows the guitar to seamlessly transition between musical genres, whether delivering clean amplifier tones or overdrive. Jazz, blues, rock — the Fat Tele from Woodstock is adept at them all.
Playing Experience
Crafted with a maple neck sporting a comfortable C-shaped profile, the guitar fits snugly in the hand, while the 12" radius fretboard facilitates bends even when strings are close to the frets. The hand-rounded fretboard edge enhances playing comfort and enables swift neck movement, complemented by hand-rounded fret edges that safeguard fingers and ease playing.
Extended access to the truss rod simplifies neck adjustments, facilitated by the dual-action truss rod for precise geometry adjustments. Handcrafted soft lines along all fretboard edges impart individuality to each guitar and provide a pleasing tactile sensation, instilling confidence during play.
With 22 high frets allowing for bends and pull-offs, and quality fret finishing reducing the contact area between fret and string, Standard series guitars maintain exceptional intonation from the 1st to the 22nd fret.
Enhancing the instrument's sound, the bone nut adds softness while featuring well-polished string slots for optimal tuning stability, especially when using the tremolo system.
Featuring an increased gear ratio of 18:1, the tuning peg mechanism enables swift and precise tuning adjustments while maintaining stability during active playing.
Retainers installed on the headstock enhance string vibration transmission to the guitar's neck by augmenting string pressure on the nut, resulting in a more expressive sound.
